| At 1300hrs June 24, 2001, after 8 months at the dock, the Tropic Star cast off her
lines and set sail in light rain and a 15 kt southerly. For two hours, in the waters west
of Shilshole Bay, the schooner conducted sea trials. Upon return the Captain reported a
clean sweep. The 2001 Tropic Star sailing season has begun!
